Recently, I have joined a service programme held in Taylor's and it is called MADU. Basically, this can be consider as a voluntary work and firstly, we are being divided into few groups according to our favour. For my group, we have been assigned to the orphanage to help out the children there. The main purpose of our group is to help those orphans in their studies. When we arrived there, we found out that they are quite weak in their studies and hence, we are there to help them. Every Friday, we are going to teach them and interact with them as well, in order to build that bonding with them and know more about them.
During the session, I really enjoyed the whole process of teaching because I can know more about them and help them with my ability. Besides, I felt really grateful and blessed that I have both my parents and helping the unfortunate one can make our life happier. Although sometimes might be tough for us but, we knew that we have to step out from our comfort zone in order to give support and guidance to them. Without contribution, that does not consider as helping others.]
From this programme, I found that this can really help in my spiritual life. From that day onwards, I have a different perspective to my own life. I felt that everyone has their own meaning of their life and we have to appreciate on what we had instead of complaining what we have lost. It helps me to be optimistic to my life and I can view my life differently. Life is really meaningful and we just have to notice every little things in our life and appreciate it.
In my future, I wish to become a successful engineer and recently I am studying SAM in Taylors.
Through this programme, we can learn to be empathy to others and not only become a results-orientated person. In my future, I can learn that I need to always stick back to God in order to make my life more meaningful!
